Shop at local markets

Pike County farmers and citizens are encouraged to take advantage of two local markets, the online market at WednesdayMarket.locallygrown.net and the Market on the Square which will start the first Saturday in April and be held each Saturday until the end of the season in November.

“While the year-round Wednesday Market is going strong with more products every week, the seasonal Market on the Square will open again starting the first Saturday in April. “Supporting locally grown and locally made is important for a strong community,” said Brenda Fayard. “Know your farmer and know your food and shop for it locally!” 

Local citizens can shop online at WednesdayMarket.locallygrown.net and farmers in the area will pick or produce their products fresh for pickup Wednesday at the Wednesday Market building just off the square.
