The snow ended overnight but not before dumping three to five inches in Pike and surrounding counties.Roads that froze overnight Friday leading to multiple minor accidents were thawing fast Saturday morning. Pike sheriff Jimmy Thomas reported no major incidents here.Temperatures are expected to rise to the low 40s this afternoon, speeding the snow melt. A low of 25 is expected early Sunday morning but temperatures that afternoon will nudge into the 50s and the snow will be gone so play in it while you can but continue to use caution on the roads – particularly those less travelled.Early Monday, the low will be 28 with a slight chance of a snow shower. No major accumulation is expected.
