More than 100 tax bills that were mailed last week have an incorrect fire fee, charging some residents $150 instead of the correct $50 fee for their property. County manager Bill Sawyer said the properties were erroneously considered agribusiness/commercial instead of agricultural. He said residents affected by the mistake will receive a new bill in the mail with the correct fire fee.
