A 17-year-old Spalding County youth has been arrested for allegedly using the internet to threaten school violence. From Sheriff Wendell Beam: Brennan Turbyville, age 17, of 665 Maple Drive, Griffin, Georgia, is being held at the Spalding County Jail on a charge of Terroristic Threats with a bond of $1000.00. Mr. Turbyville was arrested on January 7, 2016, by members of the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest followed an incident that occurred on January 2, 2016, in which Mr. Turbyville made threats on the internet to take over one of the local schools and shoot students.
