Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation reported power outages from the Wednesday, Feb. 18 storm affecting 1,613 customers in five counties. At the height of the storm there were approximatelyÂ 3,640 Central Georgia EMCÂ members without power.Â There were 21 customers without power Williamson area of Pike and power is expected to be restored Thursday.Central Georgia EMC identified 40 broken poles in the service territory and had ongoing restoration efforts throughout the nightÂ to restore electric service to these areas affected by the severe weather.
