Submit photos now for Dog and Pony Show

For the thirteenth year in a row, dog and equine lovers will gather at A Novel Experience in Zebulon to celebrate photography of animals from across the south at the annual Dog and Pony Show.

This year’s show is slated to take over the bookstore in mid-March with proceeds to benefit local animal rescue Coco’s Cupboard and rescue dogs on site during the show’s artist reception on March 21. Submit four of your favorite dog or equine photos for free by Feb. 5 at midnight.

“Visitors to the bookstore will be delighted at the scenes of happy puppies, serene donkeys and noble horses,” said Chris Curry of A Novel Experience.

“Many of the framed photographs are for sale and will be guaranteed to bring a smile to the viewer. It’s one of our favorite photo shows at A Novel Experience!”

At the artist’s reception March 21, local animal rescue Coco’s Cupboard will provide a parade of adoptable dogs from their rescue center and photographers and visitors can feast on hot dogs as they enjoy the show.
