Tee off for Kiwanis

Kiwanis Club of Pike County is hosting a May 17 golf tournament to help fund their community outreach programs which include providing weekend meals for students in Pike who need them (through the Pike County Backpack Program), supporting local recreation sports and local scouts in the Flint River Council, Christmas gifts for local families in need and helping the Young Lives Teen Moms organization.

“We hope that community can support this golf tourney on May 17 – businesses and golfers alike,” said Jason Brisendine. “Every dollar goes to support kids in our community through food programs, eye exams, school band program, reading initiatives, Christmas gifts and other initiatives.”
