Pike County sheriff’s deputies and emergency personnel responded to a Highway 19 wreck around 3 p.m. on a rainy Friday afternoon after a Nissan Altima and postal vehicle collided.According to Sgt. Shannon Moulton of the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, three of the four people in the vehicles were transported to area hospitals.Debris from the vehicles was scattered in the middle lane and three lanes of traffic were closed temporarily while the scene was cleared. The airbag in the Altima deployed and the vehicle had moderate damage to the front left bumper and quarter panel. The door of the postal truck was bent.
