Tour showcases Pike homes

The Crapemyrtle Garden Club of Zebulon is hosting its annual Christmas Tour of Homes and Historic Sites Sunday, Dec. 6, from 1-6 p.m. The tour will spotlight some of Pike County’s beautifully decorated homes and historic buildings. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the tour. Proceeds go to the garden club. Tour participants, who tour the homes in the order of their convenience, are asked to wear comfortable shoes due to some uneven walking areas at one of the sites. Do not open closed doors or cabinets inside homes. There will be no smoking, pets, spiked heels or photography allowed. Be sure to stop by Oliver’s Twist in downtown Williamson for refreshments and with a ticket, a free gift. Advance tickets are available at A Novel Experience, garden club members, United Bank in Zebulon, the Plant Emporium in Griffin and Noell’s in Thomaston.
