VA Clinic to hold grand opening/info session April 13

The Atlanta VA Health Care System will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its Pike County clinic at 9528 Highway 19 in Zebulon at 10 a.m. April 13.

The event is free and open to the public and will include an information session on the PACT Act — Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics. Atlanta VAHCS staff will be on site to help Veterans apply for benefits, complete toxic exposure screenings and enroll in VA health care.

“The Pike County VA clinic provides a wide variety of services for local veterans, including primary care, Integrated Mental Health, speciality care, telehealth and laboratory blood draw services. The clinic serves Veterans Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

“This facility increases access and ensures that our veterans continue to receive the high-quality health care that they have earned and deserve,” said Atlanta VA Health Care System Director Ann Brown. “We are always trying to improve services for our veterans, and the Pike County VA Clinic helps us do just that.”
