Early voting for the May 24 election will be held during regular business hours at the courthouse through May 20. Voters can also cast their ballots on Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Voters may view sample ballots by visiting the courthouse’s ‘˜hall of ballots’ or by going to the Georgia Secretary of State’s website at mvp.sos.ga.gov.The Farm Bureau of Pike County, along with several other Farm Bureau offices, are giving candidates a chance to be heard at two upcoming political forums. A forum for local candidates will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12 at Pike Assembly of God.A forum for judicial candidates will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 16 at Pike Assembly of God.Questions for candidates can be submitted to Rebecca Rolling at Pike County Farm Bureau at 770-567-3431.
