Accused killer Jamie Weis accepted a blind plea Friday afternoon in open court. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole by Judge Tommy Hankinson.The prosecution presented their case all day Monday and Tuesday morning. The defense then presented their case, finishing Thursday afternoon. The judge impose a sentence at 12:14 p.m. Thursday following the closing statements. Weis was given 24 hours to accept or reject the sentencing. Weis is accused of murdering his elderly neighbor Catherine King during a burglary at her Williamson home in February 2006.On Thursday, Judge Tommy Hankinson sentenced Weis to life without parole.
