Williamson Wisteria Festival is April 5-6

The 2024 Williamson Wisteria Festival will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 5 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 6 in Benson Hilley Park on Williamson-Zebulon Road.

“People who have never been can expect a community-driven event where local vendors sell their wares and showcase their talent. There will be live music, plenty of food options and activities for children. There will be old tractors to see courtesy of the Tractor Club; and they will be driving folks around in the Wisteria Wagon. The festival is a down home family event where everyone can get together for a day out and enjoy small town camaraderie,” said Williamson city clerk Pamela Schoentag.

This year’s Wisteria Festival already has 50 confirmed vendors.

“We have DonutNV joining us for the first time, as is Kelly Mac Candy (freeze dried candy vendor). Keith Edmondson will be selling his paintings at the Sons of Confederate Veterans booth. Most of the vendors are all returns,” said Pamela. “The Pony Patch is attending again to provide pony rides for the children and Pike County American Legion Post 97 is bringing a couple of bounce houses. We will also have Ferg’s Family Farm participating for the first time selling locally grown plants and flowers.”

“Come out to support vendors while enjoying live music and a wide variety of foods and drinks! There will be a medley of arts and crafts, collectibles, clothing and household items. We will also have activities for the children to enjoy, so bring the whole family!”
