Woman hit on square

A woman was hit on the south side of the courthouse square by an extended cab F-250 towing a trailer around 3:40 p.m. Monday. Zebulon police and sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident to control traffic while she was tended to by emergency responders. According to Trooper Starling from the Thomaston post of the GSP said Mary Caldwell was attempting to cross the street at the crosswalk when she was struck by Chad Bragg. The truck was traveling north on Highway 19 and stuck the woman while turning left on Highway 18. More details as they become available.
